CTAHPERD 2017 Professional Development Grant

The Professional Conference Grant has been established to cover the expense of the one day conference registration fee for a CTAHPERD member to attend one day of the SHAPE America National Convention & Expo in Boston, Massachusetts March 14 to 18, 2017. Read more

“PROFESSIONAL CONFERENCE GRANT”

The Professional Conference Grant has been established to cover either the expense of a substitute, and/or mileage expense ($.30/mile; maximum 200 miles in state), and/or conference registration fee for a CTAHPERD member to attend a workshop or conference directly related to the member’s professional growth. It may also be used to cover the expense of a substitute when a CTAHPERD member conducts a professional workshop.

“PROFESSIONAL VISITATION GRANT”

The Professional Visitation Grant has been established to cover either the expense of a substitute and/or mileage expense ($.30/mile; maximum 200 miles in state) for a CTAHPERD member to make a professional visitation that is directly related to the member’s professional growth.

WHO MAY APPLY?

Professionals with current membership in CTAHPERD may apply. (Check your membership card.) Completed applications will be accepted on a first come basis and until the grant fund has been exhausted. In consideration of all of our CTAHPERD members, please apply for one workshop or conference or visitation during the year. This grant cannot be used to attend the CTAHPERD Fall Conference.

PROCEDURES?

  1. Choose the workshop/conference you wish to attend and confirm with your employer. Choose the program/professional you would like to visit and confirm a visitation date. Confirm the visitation date with your employer.
  2. Check for current membership status.
  3. Attach a workshop/conference announcement with a completed application form.
  4. Send completed application form (details below).
